November 2025 Meeting Minutes
Approved minutes from the Nov 2025 meeting are now available. Highlights include the launch of our new website, a precept decrease in the 26/27 budget, and a shift to six meetings per year. Play area repairs and Christmas festivities were also confirmed.

The approved minutes from the Tuddenham St Mary Parish Council meeting held on 20th November 2025 are now available. Seven councillors and five members of the public attended to discuss several key updates for our village.
Village Infrastructure & Safety
- New Website: We are pleased to announce the new parish council website is officially live.
- Highways & Speeding: Discussions continued regarding traffic calming, with the Council approving the purchase of a new battery for the village Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) to ensure they remain operational.
- Play Area Maintenance: The Council agreed to purchase 300mm of bark for the play area swings to meet safety standards.
Community & Environment
- Festive Season: A 12ft Christmas tree was ordered for the village, with the official switch-on held on 30th November.
- Tree Works: 11 trees were scheduled for removal from the playing field to be delivered to residents.
- Playing Fields: The Council unanimously agreed to move the Playing Fields AGM to November to better align with current practices.
Council Administration & Finance
- 2026/27 Budget: A budget of £16,275 was proposed, which is expected to result in a real-terms decrease in the precept request for residents.
- Meeting Frequency: To allow more time for councillors to complete actions, meeting frequency has been reduced from 10 to 6 meetings per year
- Working Groups: All former committees have been transitioned into “Working Groups”
- Clerk Vacancy: The Council is still seeking a Parish Clerk for 5 hours per week.
